[ He almost got out of this birthday without anything... ]

[Izuku sets his spoon in the bowl so he can lean over to open his satchel, carefully rummaging around inside until he pulls out a smooth, clear bottle that he places on the table between them. It's a potion, though it's contents are a cool light blue and almost a bit murky. It seems to have the consistency of slightly thickened cream, shifting inside when Izuku turns it. There are dots of different colors in it as well, suggesting that some different herbs and things must have been ground up and put inside.]

This is a cooling salve that I studied up on during my lessons. It should help cool you down when it starts getting warm again soon, and it lasts for a few hours. I made it by myself without any help.

[ Oh. It's...sort of cool? Not what Katsuki would have expected, if anything - ]
