[Izuku smiles just slightly as he returns to the curry that Katsuki so graciously made for him even though he could have just let Izuku starve, cruelly. He's perfectly happy sitting in the kitchen eating with him though, glad to give him someone to spend his birthday with instead of wiling it away alone in his room.
It's nice. Izuku thinks it's the first birthday of his he's spent with Katsuki like this in years.]
[ Since Izuku shuts up, they probably have a decent dinner. Katsuki's never much for small talk so he prefers it this way, although he doesn't intend to linger.
[Izuku doesn't rush on purpose, though it maybe seems like he is. He's eating eagerly because he's always enjoyed Katsuki's cooking, and it's spicy but not like..."this is going to kill me" spicy. He wonders if that's on purpose on Katsuki's part, since Katsuki always loves things five-alarm spicy for himself.]
[Izuku is aware of this, even though Katsuki immediately changed up his plans with cooking curry once Izuku walked in...maybe it was just instinct that told him to, since he's used to feeding the bakusquad so often.
